Delete your account
You can delete your Usual Rounds account, and everything we keep for you about your round and your customers, at any time.
In the app
More, then Delete my account
One tap deletes your account there and then, on your phone and on our server. It needs a connection. Changes on your phone that have not synced yet are deleted too.
Without the app
Email us
If you no longer have the app, email support@getusual.co.uk from the email address of the Google account you signed in with, and say you want your account deleted.
We delete it by hand within 30 days of your email, and tell you when it is done.
What is deleted
Your account
Your name, your email, your Google account's identifier and your sign-in sessions.
Your round
Your trade, round days, town, bank details and the wording of your messages.
Your customers
Their names, addresses, phone numbers, prices and notes, and every visit, payment and message recorded.
Your payment connections
The ids of your own Stripe and GoCardless accounts and the GoCardless access token. We ask GoCardless to cancel the token first.
What stays
A record that an account was deleted, and the date: a one-way code made from the account's internal number, and nothing that names you. We keep it for six years, the usual time limit for bringing a claim, so we can show the deletion was done if it is ever questioned in a claim.
Our database's own history keeps a copy for up to 30 days more, and our encrypted backups for up to 90 days. Then they are gone too.
Your Google Play subscription to Usual Rounds is cancelled for you when your account is deleted. You keep it until the end of the time you have paid for; we do not refund it.
Your Stripe and GoCardless accounts stay yours. Deleting Usual Rounds does not close them: close them with Stripe and GoCardless if you want them gone.
